Salience processes email from Gmail and Outlook. Multi-account is supported on Pro: connect any combination of Gmail and Outlook mailboxes (up to five) and they all feed into one unified inbox. Every email goes through the same AI classification engine and triggers the same automated actions.

PDF (text and scanned via OCR), PNG, JPG, TIFF, WebP, DOCX, DOC, CSV, and XLSX. Attachments on classified emails are processed in memory for text extraction. No files are stored on disk.

Ask Salience is a conversational AI that reads and writes to your connected services on your behalf. Ask it questions ("What needs my attention today?") or give it commands ("Reschedule the Acme meeting to Friday"). It uses tool calling to search your inbox, classify items, file invoices, draft replies, send Slack alerts, create calendar events, and more. Pro adds voice: press-to-talk, hands-free Conversation mode, and spoken replies.

Yes. Four built-in themes: Bloom (warm cream), Light (clean white), Dark (deep neutral), and Cosmos (purple cosmic gradient). Switch any time from Settings.

Free gives you 1 workflow, 250 emails per month, and classification with auto-labelling. Pro adds all action types (Xero, Slack, Teams, Sheets, Calendar, Draft replies, webhooks), attachment extraction, priority watchlists, AI summaries, the intelligence digest, and Ask Salience with voice.

Privacy & Security

Nowhere outside our infrastructure. Salience runs a local AI model (Qwen 35B) on hardware we control. Your emails and documents are never sent to OpenAI, Google, Anthropic, or any third-party AI provider. Two reasons we run our own model instead of calling a cloud API: privacy, so no big AI provider can log your content, train on it, or be subpoenaed about it; and quality, because we tune the model for inbox classification specifically, which delivers faster and more consistent results than a generic API call.

Salience connects with read-only OAuth scopes. Classification runs on Qwen 35B, a model we host on our own hardware, not OpenAI, Anthropic, or any third-party AI provider. AI summaries are cached encrypted at rest and retained only as long as your workflows need them. Content stays inside your region and never leaves our infrastructure.

Yes. Go to Settings, Account, Delete (Your Data) for a self-service wipe. Deletion cascades across classifications, AI summaries, watchlists, action logs, and OAuth tokens. Audit logs are retained for 30 days post-deletion for compliance, then purged.
